Albert County Museum – 7th Annual Royalty Tea

August 08 - 2PM

7th Annual Royalty Tea to Celebrate Prince Phillip

Albert County Museum, Hopewell Cape, NB

After 65 years of public service, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburg, has chosen to retire at the age of 96. In order to commemorate the Duke’s substantial achievements and tireless dedication over the course of his reign, the Albert County Museum’s 7th Annual Royalty Tea will focus on his contributions to England and Commonwealth.

Barb Bloom, a local expert and major contributor to this event, says that “if there was ever a time to celebrate Prince Philip, now is it. There isn’t as much known about him, but we have gathered together some interesting information!” Bloom has been in correspondence with Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II and she has shown appreciation that her husband will be honoured at this event.

The tea will feature royal trivia, live music, a delicious and eye-pleasing selection of sandwiches, scones, and sweets, and of course, tea!

The 7th Annual Royalty Tea will take place on August 10, 2017 at 2pm, inside of the Community Hall at the Albert County Museum, 3940 Route 114, Hopewell Cape, NB.

Tickets cost $15 per person, and must be reserved in advance by calling 734-2003, emailing, or in person at the Albert County Museum Silver Jubilee Lodge & Library.
