Albert County Museum Hosting 41st Annual Fibre Arts & Quilt Fair

Hopewell Cape, NB – The Albert County Museum is pleased to be hosting the 41st annual Fibre Arts & Quilt Fair, formally known as the Quilt Show & Sale. This year, the show has expanded its offering to include a variety of different fibre arts in addition to the over 115 quilts on for sale and display. Knitting, weaving, paper piecing, hooking, cross stitching, and a variety of beautifully sewn pieces are all available for purchase and all items in the show are locally made and crafted.

Melody Land, the Manager of the Albert County Museum reflects on the event. “The Fibre Arts & Quilt Fair is a fundamental part of the Albert County Museum. It is almost an historic event in and of itself because of the deep roots we share with one another. Without the dedication and excellent work of the committee volunteers we wouldn’t be able to experience such a successful and community building event. We are so grateful for their work.”

With over 40 years going, this event is one of the Museum’s biggest fundraisers and community building activities at the museum.

The Fibre Arts & Quilt Fair is being held from Tuesday, July 11th until Saturday, July 15th from 9:30am until 5:30pm daily in the Community Hall.

Admission is $3 and proceeds go towards funding the many projects happening at the museum. Those attending the Fair are eligible for buy one get one free admission to the Museum.
