Stan Carew, of Halifax and host of Weekend Mornings on CBC is a well respected raconteur, actor, musician and songwriter. He has been involved with broadcasting since 1979 and was a member of The Magpies until 2012. He has also become well known as a performer in a variety of Maritime venues as a soloist and in collaboration with others.

John Campbelljohn, of Cape Breton, is a the multi-award winning musician with accolades including Blues Artist of the Year, Guitarist of the Year and Slide Guitarist of the Year. Campbelljohn soulfully commands the stage with rich vocals and powerfully prolific technique on guitar or dobro lap steel. He performs as a soloist and with others, as a born performer.

Graham Breeze and Toby Wilson, based in Staffordshire, England are the UK duo Breeze & Wilson. They have been writing, recording and playing music together for almost seventeen years and have developed a reputation as a refined and extremely talented duo, a stellar example of what can be achieved with two voices and two acoustic guitars (although they also include, banjo, dobros and a multitude of different tunings).  Harmonically rich, musically and lyrically diverse, they invite comparison to Simon and Garfunkel and  Seals & Crofts. Breeze and Wilson developed strong links to this area through their initially ground-breaking musical connection with Stan Carew in 2007.  They have toured across the Maritimes every year since then as either duo, trio or four-piece shows, and produced two CDs together during that time.

Join us, on June 19th for a little bit of Carew and Campbelljohn, a little bit of Breeze & Wilson .. and then a little bit more of Carew, Campbelljohn, Breeze & Wilson together before the night is through.
