The New Brunswick Black History Society and the New Brunswick Museum- « Honour Before Glory »

28 February Sunday 1pm-3:30pm: The New Brunswick Black History Society, in partnership with the New Brunswick Museum, will be screening Anthony Sherwood Productions’ award-winning docudrama “Honour Before Glory” which tells the story of the “Number Two Construction Battalion” also known as the “Black Battalion”.
Prior to the screening of the film, Gary Hughes, New Brunswick Museum Curator of History and Technology, will provide some comments on New Brunswickers in World War I, and Mary Louise McCarthy, President of the New Brunswick Black History Society, will give a brief presentation on Percy Richards, a New Brunswick member of the Number Two Construction Battalion.
