Quaco Museum

Exterior of the Quaco Museum

The Quaco Museum located in St. Martins, on the beautiful Bay of Fundy, is a volunteer-run community museum with a focus on the rich shipbuilding heritage and history of the area. Immerse yourself in the halcyon days of shipbuilding when over 500 wooden sailing vessels were built on our beaches.  Hear the fascinating stories of this bygone era and the role of women at sea during the “Golden Age of Sail.” The lasting legacy of the St, Martins shipbuilders and sea captains can be seen in the heritage homes that line the main street of the village.

The Quaco Museum is open Tuesday – Saturday July & August.
