The AHNB is the voice of museums and built heritage in New Brunswick. The association speaks to governments on behalf of museums and built heritage and helps draw attention to heritage concerns in general. Issues that have been addressed include funding, the SEED program, policies that affect museums and relationships between museums and other institutions, such as schools and risks to preservation of heritage buildings.
AHNB can also ensure that the public is aware of the province’s museums and built heritage and alert people to the issues as they arise.
