Advocacy

The Association of Heritage New Brunswick (AHNB) represents the interests of Museums and Heritage Places in New Brunswick. The association advocates with both Federal and Provincial government authorities on behalf of Museums and Heritage Places, to raise awareness about heritage-related issues. Some of the addressed concerns involve funding, student programs, policies affecting Museums, relationships between museums and other institutions (like schools), and threats to the preservation of Heritage Places.

AHNB in partnership with a consortium of provincial and territorial museums associations and the Canadian Museums Association, led by the Alberta Museums Association created templates for your museum’s letter writing campaign.
