The AHNB Inventory Project is a growing database of locally appreciated heritage sites from all over New Brunswick. The goal is to celebrate our collective heritage and make our history more accessible. The database is in development, with the intention of being hosted online in the future for public use.
At AHNB, we believe that promoting heritage preservation is foundational to celebrating cultural diversity, combating climate change, and educating the next generation about their history. That’s why this database is inclusive to all of New Brunswick’s built heritage sites, whether or not they have been formally recognized.
This project would not be possible without the help of our summer students and volunteers who compile the majority of the research. If this project interests you and you would like to know more about how to get involved, please email inventoryproject@amnb.ca for more information. We need volunteers from all over New Brunswick!
