Located in the heart of St. Martins, the Quaco Museum & Library celebrates the rich history and shipbuilding heritage of the Quaco–St. Martins region. Since opening its doors in July 1978, the museum has preserved and shared the stories of the people, industries, and communities that helped shape this historic Bay of Fundy village.
The museum’s permanent collection features artifacts, photographs, documents, and archival materials that showcase the area’s proud maritime and shipbuilding traditions. Visitors can explore exhibits highlighting local history and gain a deeper appreciation for the culture and heritage of one of New Brunswick’s most scenic coastal communities.
In addition to its exhibits, the Quaco Museum & Library hosts a variety of educational programs and special events throughout the year, including its popular Speaker Series, featuring local historians, authors, and researchers who share fascinating stories from New Brunswick’s past.
