Company I of the 20th Regiment of Maine Volunteers Historical Society

Experience living history with the Company I of the 20th Regiment of Maine Volunteers Historical Society, a dedicated reenactment group committed to preserving and sharing the legacy of American Civil War soldiers. Throughout the season, members present authentic interpretations of 19th-century military life through period uniforms, infantry drills, and firing demonstrations.

Visitors of all ages are invited to engage with history in an immersive and meaningful way. Be sure to also keep an eye out for Blue, the group’s friendly and much-loved mascot, who adds an extra touch of charm to every event.

In addition to their live demonstrations, the group also features an exhibit at the Loyalist House, offering another opportunity to explore their work and the history they represent.
