A permanent exhibition in the Heritage Room attests to the presence of the Religious Hospitallers of Saint Joseph and their works in Hôtel-Dieu, Saint-Basile, from the beginnings in 1873 up to around 1973.

Organization of the artefacts centers around four themes: care of the sick, education, manual tasks and services, religion and the RHSJ community.

All the exhibits that are the property of the RHSJ were at one time or other used in Hôtel-Dieu: hospital, pharmacy, shops, kitchen, classrooms, various services, handicraft, shoe shop, chapel and sisters community.
