The Chocolate Museum

Step into the birthplace of one of Canada’s most beloved chocolate traditions at the Chocolate Museum in St. Stephen, New Brunswick.

Located in the original Ganong factory, where the Ganong brothers produced chocolate and candy for more than a century, the museum offers visitors a fascinating journey through the history of chocolate making in Canada. After the company moved to a new facility, part of the historic factory was transformed into a museum dedicated to preserving this unique legacy.

Explore interactive exhibits, discover how chocolate and candy were made, and learn about the people and innovations that helped make Ganong a household name. No visit is complete without enjoying the museum’s popular chocolate tasting experience!

Guided tours provide an engaging experience for visitors of all ages and are ideal for families, school groups, and chocolate lovers alike.

Tours last approximately 45–60 minutes and are limited to 20 visitors per tour.
