Quaco Museum

Discover the rich shipbuilding heritage of St. Martins, New Brunswick, once the third-largest producer of wooden sailing vessels in the Maritimes. Between 1803 and 1900, over 500 ships were built here, shaping the region’s coastal history and economy.

Opened in 1978, the Quaco Shipbuilding Museum preserves this legacy through a collection of artifacts from the golden age of shipbuilding. Highlights include the restored figurehead from The Prince Victor, along with exhibits that tell the story of local craftsmanship and maritime life.
