Located on Campobello Island, this remarkable destination is the only international park in the world jointly managed by Canada and the United States. It is here that Franklin D. Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt spent many cherished summers, making it a place rich in both history and natural beauty.
Step inside the impressive 34-room Roosevelt Cottage and explore exhibits that bring their lives and legacy to life. Beyond the cottage, visitors can wander through over 2,800 acres of scenic coastal trails, gardens, and protected landscapes.
Don’t miss the Witapehkewakoni-Awt / Friendship Trail, featuring accessible boardwalks that wind through peaceful wetlands. The park also offers engaging programs such as Eleanor’s Tea, along with special events throughout the season. For a relaxing break, stop by the Prince Café and take in the views overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay.
