Historic Acadian Village

The Acadian Historical Village is a living open-air museum that immerses visitors in the daily life of Acadian families from 1770 to 1949. Explore a 2.2 km walking path featuring over 40 historic buildings, each animated by costumed interpreters sharing traditions, skills, and authentic stories.

The site also includes cultural demonstrations, an inn, two shops, and a full-service restaurant, offering a fully immersive visitor experience.

• June 4 – September 26: Daily, 10 AM – 5:30 PM
• September 13 – 26: Reduced season (details to come)

Featured Experience: Taste History
This guided tour explores the evolution of the traditional Acadian diet from 1770 to 1950 through tastings, storytelling, and visits to historic kitchens and gardens. The experience concludes with a traditional Acadian fricot meal.
